When Malin Åkerman’s Dodo Dream Date, Piper, first arrived, she had a whole trail of dog-friendly treats to greet her with. After some brief introductions, they sat down to play a game called Secrets and Confessions.
“For every question that I answer, I get to find out something new about Piper,” Malin said in a video for The Dodo.
For the first question, Malin was asked where she would take Piper for a first date in Sweden, which is where Malin is from. She talked about taking the sweet pup to her favorite park that she knows Piper would absolutely love. In exchange for her answer, Malin learned that Piper has been single for six months.
“Yeah, she’s ready for a real home,” Malin said.
For the next question, Malin talked about her experience with Southern hospitality, a concept that gets explored in her new show, “The Hunting Wives.” She said the most Southern hospitality she ever experienced was, surprisingly, in southern Italy with her mother-in-law. In exchange, she learned that Piper’s favorite activity is sunbathing in the yard.
“Well, that’s, like, my favorite activity,” Malin said.
In between all of the questions, Piper kept looking for more treats, and Malin was more than happy to help her on her quest. Ironically, the next question was about comfort food, which for Malin is chocolate. Malin then learned that for Piper, anything edible is her love language.
“I already knew that about you,” Malin said.
